Thumbs up Another KDP contained

I did my KDP yesterday. Since there was a healthy oil leak coming from the front of the engine, I decided on the tab method.
Total time was 5 hours including a few breaks. I could have easily knocked off an hour or more, but I dont like to rush these things.
I'd have to say, the two most difficult things involved in doing this was:
1 Removing the windshield washer assy. Mine fits super bawl*****ed tight. This took much longer than it should have. I considered not re installing it.
2 Getting the front seal to start straight.
The rest was just removal and reinstall parts. Simple.
I'd like to stress to anyone putting this off, it aint no big deal.

My dowel pin was flush in the block, to slightly protruding. I'd guestimate .010 out. I understand this is about "normal". I cleaned the area, and applied the green "wicking" loctite to the KDP, in addition to the tab!!
I pulled the oil pump bolts, and cam retainer bolts, cleaned ,loctitied(blue), and re torqued. All were tight to begin with.

I now have piece of mind.

I'd like to thank:
CPFF, I used the wrenches from his kit #16 to loosen the fan, and to hold the fan hub so I could remove the bolts from it.

R.Ebel, for the tab and instructions.

And Joe George for more instructions.

I only wish I could bump the timing up while I had it apart.
I took a bit longer than I origanally tought I would, so I didnt want to start something else I wasnt 100% certain on how to do.
Eric

PS I didnt have a non magnetic feeler gauge, so I mic'ed up a electrical tie, and it was .51. I used that on the crank sensor and the tach works good!
