BD Tranny roar

I have the BD torque and valve body. This summer the the tranny will roar in 1st gear when it has been idling for awhile. I just changed the sensor just in case ,it was not going above 160
I have the magtek pan .It will only roar right off the bat,once you start driving it is quiet.The fluid is at the hook,and does not feel hot when I check it after running 50 miles on the interstrate. It does it more if I am pulling a trailer around city streets.
