Resistor @ PCM ??

I recall reading some time ago about the need to add a resistor at the PCM after tranny and TC modifications (I think), but don'r recall what the reasoning is. I've done a search, but apparently did not use the correct key search criteria. Can anyone refresh my memory on this one?
