HIGH mileage 94-98 CC 12V, what do I need to address besides KDP?

There is a very good chance I will buy another Ram by the end of December and possibly, the 96 I am going to look at this week. Without a doubt, whatever I get will be a 94-98 CC, 4X4 5spd; and, most likely, it will have 150K+ miles to meet my budget.

I have been thinking of items that need to be taken care of for my own piece of mind and came up with a fairly short list. I would replace all fluids the week I buy it including diffs, tranny, xfer case, coolant ect. And then a complete brake job.

Other items I believe need to be addressed are the dowel pin, 5th gear nut, balljoints and drag link.

Shrimpy suggested replacing the fuel hose that leaks.

Surely that’s not all…how about pump timing and injector cleaning?
