will more boost help me?

I have been through the forums studying the idea that a little more boost may help me with EGT's. Is there anyone with a similar setup who has played with boost, with a goal of lowering EGT's??

2nd question is the TST boost elbow has a allen head screw in it that I would guess is to allow for boost adjustment, is it?

My max boost is 27, maybe 28 lbs. When pulling 7-9K (Total 16-18K) EGT's get me before I run out of power. I may swap out the turbo housing if I have to, but would like to see if there is a free fix
