Truck Died on Me Last Night

Guys,

My truck had to be towed home from the Colo Springs last night night after shutting down on me a couple of times yesterday. The truck also would not shut down when running and would make a loud buzzing noise that really concerned me. I'm wondering what you guys recommend I check. I know for starters I'm going to check the fuel shutoff solenoid but I don't know where to go from there any suggestions would be appreciated.
