torque plate jig

I had a #8 plate in my truck and replaced it with a #10 and 3k GSK. I bought the truck with the #8 so I don't have a jig for the torque plate. I did a trade in with Piers. I have no way of knowing what the factory location of the plate was so I can measure how far to advance it. Does anyone know where I can get one or have any advice on where factory setting is? Thanks for any help. Jim
