Smile Playing with the star wheel

My EDM's smoke too much at 6000' so I have been playing with the star wheel.

Interesting note:

1. Star Wheel all the way forward, good inital off the line power, but very smokey and at WOT I went over 1650* , ouch!

2. Star Wheel retracted all the way back: Dog off the line and 285* cooler at WOT, smoke way down.

I didn't realize how much adjusting one could do without sliding the plate and AFC housing. I did a search and hadn't found much on this---probably "Old Hat" to most of you.

Anyway, just thought I would post this, for others who like to tinker.
