I am a fairly new CTD owner and new to TDR. I have done a lot of research on this site, but now I have a question. I have a 1997 California truck, but I live in TN. I am going to remove or block off my egr and I want to replace my intake manifold to get away from the air restrictive one that is currently on my truck. I am having trouble finding a regular 49 state non-egr intake manifold that will swap with mine. I have looked at the ATS manifolds also.
Does anyone know where I can find a non-egr intake manifold ?
Also, which is the better option....replace with a regular intake or go with the ATS manifold ?
I remember reading a thread on this subject where someone had a source to purchase the non-egr manifolds but after multiple searchs, I can't seem to find that information again.
Any advice / information is greatly appreciated.
