Question 97 12V Bombs and Upgrades

I have a 97 12V with a P7100 215HP pump on it that I am going to put in my 90 Ford with the NV 4500 and T-case. I have the engine out of the donor and sitting in the garage. I have so far adjusted the valves, new valve cover gaskets, netralized the KDP via a tab, will replace the pan gasket. check the tranny for the updated reverse nut and clean it and the T-case up and put in new gaskets/seals in both.
Is there anything else I should do while I have all three pieces in the garage where they are easy to work on?
I plan on putting in 4" exhaust, a BHAF, and the 13" Southbend clutch in it. I would like to increase the HP a little (around 300HP), still want good milage. Have read about fuel plates and boost elbow Not sure exactly where they go and what they do. Anyone have suggestions for either of these to gain more HP? Photos of installs and round about prices would be great too.

So far the engine and drive train look good, should be a good running engine
Like I said would like to get a little more HP while keeping the milage, will have 3:55 in the Ford. Plan on keeping the stock turbo and injectors for a while also. Any advice/comments would be great.
The engine a a little different than my 05, much more simple for one
thanks
