Put 24 gallons @ .70 cents per gallon of dse blend fuel in my 04 ctd today tonight,will top it off with #2 winter blend @ 2.41 per gallon this should be 70% dse 30% diesel total cost 1.24 per gallon not to bad
the truck is running great no problems in starting in the cold, temp is 25 deg warmer weather on the way
Need it to get more oil it's been so cold that all the oil is to thick to pump, Looking at starting a cooking oil supply that will supply oil to resturants and then pick up the oil and use it as fuel just not sure where to begin on this cooking oil runs about 3.35 per gallon in town and I can buy it for about 2.50 a gallon in bulk just need some time to get this all together and make it work.

Went in to the dodge dealer today needed a oil change in my 05 and 04 and got the head mec to reprogram the computer on my 05 so a fast idle is run with the cruise control up to 1500 rpms as you all know that the 05 have a 3rd event in the injection to keep the head cool for better nox output as per the epa rules (what a waste) the motor would be under 140 degs after 30 min of idle time this should make the engine run hotter and will help in keeping heat in the motor at an idle. I tryed it today and it work's great 200 deg after 1.5 hrs running at 1300 rpm with a full winter front inplace.

still looking for some one to tell us how to turn off the 3rd event but no luck yet
my wife just got home and she tryed it out for the first time the truck was hot and all most to hot inside the cab (her words) this is good for 04 to 06 with autos will be going back to get mine done only takes a few min to do.
getting closer to running dse fuel in the 05 ctd full time with these small mods the kitty shoud be off real soon so it should not smoke so bad
