My Dodge service manual is on the way.... but wanted to get started removing my Auto Tranny today (New G&B tranny and TC are waiting patiently in its crate).
What is the trick to getting to the Torque converter bolts ('95 Ram Cummins, 47RH, 2WD)? Every tranny I've ever done had a steel plate mounted on the front of the bell housing that when removed, allowed access to the bolts.... obviously not on a Cummins Diesel though... went and got a cheap Hayne's manual, no mention at all that removing a diesel tranny is any different... guess they never looked!
