my 98 12v NV4500 with 118k miles transfer case went away in a very dramatic style...Driving down the road with no irregular indications. went from mild to a severe vibration and explosion in about 20 seconds, case completely severed. Completely stock drivetrain and not abused? I have been searching all week for a replacement and the cheapest I've found is right around $900. does anyone know where I can get an affordable case?
