Well after posting a question it occurs to me to actually introduce myself... I have a 96 2500 cummins(duh) automatic, 4wd mostly stock. ok, bone stock.... 164000 miles. I want to bomb it, but it costs money and I have other addictions, I mean hobbies... like jeeps(willys-overland, and any other jeeps).
This throttle cable thing has gotten me thinking about trading for a first generation truck for simplicity of working on it and using the extra money left over to fix up the jeep to have another vehicle to drive when the truck breaks.
Yeah, I shouldnt admit that to the second gen forum... but y'all understand, right?
I've subscribed to the tdr since 98, but haven't used the web features very much(though I signed on quite a while back).
