"storing" WVO
Is there any way to store this stuff? I've heard of the oil "spoiling" or getting stinky. I guess it wouldnt be useable as fuel at that point.
I have a empty 550 tank (& several 35 gallon drums), I also have constructed an Appleseed bio generator. I have all the parts, it's just not assembled yet.
If I were to heat the WVO say to 150 deg & circulated it for a few hours to and get all the water content out, would it still rot?
I really dont want to get into the whole methanol side of this....I dont fully understand the water wash process even though I've read just about every link on the subject.
Plus methanol is almost $5 a gallon!!!
I'm leaning more towards the WVO side. I will HIGHLY filter it before using it in the ol 12 valver.
Any suggestions?
