Vibration
2005 3500 SRW Quad cab 8 ft bed, stock - 44,000 miles orig. owner
Noticed a vibration on acceleration and a clicking noise going from reverse to forward and forward to reverse. I suspect a universal joint gone bad. Sounds strange to me because of the low mileage. A bad back prevents me from crawling under and checking it. Had a 1997 2500 with 150,000 miles and never had a problem with universal joints. Any thoughts on this problem would really help, before I walk into a dealer repair. Thanks.
