stock steering vs. borgesen
Well, my steering wheel started flopping from side to side, and since the front end was just rebuilt 30k ago, I took it to the shop that rebuilt the FE. They said the steering coupler was mush, so I researched the Borgesen. I owned a 96 Cummins 4x4, AT, 3.54 before I bot the 93, because I could'nt afford the acquisition cost, and what it would have taken to make it nice. My guess is a lot of first genners would prefer a second gen truck, but cant quite afford it. The question of affordability once again raised its ugly head, and with the stock steering coupler and related parts at the s****** for $85 versus the borgy for $225, I went with stock. Hey, the stocker lasted 235K, and it feels like a new truck, so I did it with no regrets.
