Turned the pump back to stock....
...but only temporarily.
I had to get the truck "smogged" today, and I hate dealing with the test station monkeys more than wrenching, so I figured I wouldn't chance failing with the tweaked pump. I was allowed 30 PPM and passed with 11.2, which is much higher than the truck has ever read. I have all the tests slips since the truck was new and it has always been under 2 PPM, and normally under 1 PPM. Maybe I didn't blow it out enough on the way to the test station....
I can't believe how much of a dog the truck was after setting it back as close to stock as I could remember. As soon as I got home I turned everything back up...aah, much better.
Oh, and whoever designed the VE pump needs to be severly beaten for their placement of the idle adjustment.
