Ford Door Clip update...

...well, they worked like a charm. Got them from AutoZone. You'll need 4 boxes to do both doors so figure about $18. The new clips hold the door panel so much tighter it's not even funny.

Anyway, I just finished the first drive since I got everything back into the cab. While I had it apart I replaced every clip, screw and bulb and what a difference it makes. The interior does not rattle one bit now.

I also permanently fixed the vent issue but using some anodized aluminum heating duct screens from HD. I epoxied and riveted them over the openings before putting everything back together. About the only thing that's going to get into the cab now is a really small bug...still better than mice.

Oh...I also used some 2" square stock to raise the seat up. Being almost 6' it makes a huge difference in leg room. For some reason, everything now feels more like it should be there - the steering wheel, the gearshift, the armrests on the door, the height of the door with the window opened. Highly suggest it if you feel there is not enough legroom.
