i finally joined tdr after a few months of being a guest. i looked off and on for a clean well maintained first gen 4x4 supercab for a few years and finally bought mine last april. i went to piers to have my kdp killed and met piers and pastor bob. helpful guys! bob, do you remember a black truck with a winch that looks like yours? it is unbombed so please have mercy on me. i am a sinner. i plan to get guages and a new steering shaft when needed. i would like to have more acceleration and more pulling power up steep hills like the snowshed hill on the coke. suggestions? i put on 4000 kms this summer with a small camper on the truck and averaged 19 mpg canadian. is that reasonable? aftermarket chrome rims- what fits this truck? is a afe air filter better than a kn filter?
i am laid up now with a broken kneecap and cant drive. i have taken the insurance off the truck but will be o.k. in a month or two.i have lots of time on my hands to brouse this site and will post pics after i buy a digital camera and can walk.
