Conversation with Toyota owner

Had a conversation with a Toyota truck owner the other day. He started off saying that toyota trucks blow anything else off the road. "Oh really," I said, "wanna race?"
"No what I meant is that they last longer. I used to have a Tacoma 4x4 and it had 213,000 miles on it when I sold it, and I still got $4500 out of it. How many miles do you have on your truck?"
"260,000 or so." Was my reply, "and it's worth about 10 grand......and it's 12 years old.....and it gets 20 mpg.......and it puts out over 300 hp and almost 800 ft/lbs of torque."
"Hmmmm, that's a lot better than that Tacoma ever did...."

HAHAHA, you should have seen the look on his face. I told him to ditch the yota and go out and get him a Dodge. Some people just don't get it! I hated to steal his thunder, but.....ok, so it didn't bother me!!!
