A few needed repairs

I dove into the cowl cracks today when I got home. Actually not too bad of a job. I am buzzing the cracks back with the mig and making my own repair patches. I have them all done and the pass side back together.
Now I am trying to straighten out the wiring nightmare the PO had done on it. There must be 10 wires coming through the firewall and a wad under the dash. I have a Painless add on kit that I am trying to straighten everything out with. I will be hooking up my brake controller in place of the walmart special that is on it now. Next is to seal up the vent on the drivers side. Any ideas on how to seal it up? I am going to order carpet or a rubber mat for the old girl for Christmas. Just want to seal it up so it doesn't leak. Thinking of a new tranny cooler while I have the grill off too.
Does it ever stop?
