Whats a 1992 2x4 worth?

I have been interested in getting a first gen. for a while now. I found one locally yesterday. It's a black 1992 2x4 with a camper top. I has 153k miles, auto trans, and looks to be in decent shape. The paint is real rough though. I have not looked at it up close or driven it, just talked to the owner over the phone. He is asking $5800 obo. Sounded high to me, be he said that seems to be what others are getting for them. What do you guys think, Thanks..
