97 f350 conversion

hello all,
i had to join to get all the perks of being a member. i have a 92 model 5.9 with 22,000 miles on it. talked to the guy who pulled it out. it is for real. i am going to put it in a 97 f 350. yeap getting rid of the powerjoke! the straw that broke the back was a 20 dollar o ring that led to a 250 dollar sensore!
my question is, what all do i need to do to the engine before i put it in. i have been reading about the dowel pin. know i need to do that! also gov. spring. then next thing is any and all advice on this swap would be welcome. i am going to do it right. but don't want it to take a year. i need my 4x4 for hunting!
