MicroGuard oil filter

Okay the reason im posting on this is the fact that my order from Genos has not arrived as of today, i called tuesday or wed, and they were waiting on the air filter as they were on back order, the guy checked said those were in, okay i recieved an invoice by email the next morning just a little after 8am.
My question is i know have a complete oil free engine with a Microguard filter sitting in the front seat, i purchased it as i wasn't sure when my filters would come, this morning i figured those should be here today, well they are not...
Is the MicroGuard filter (diesel) okay to use?

1968 AM General M35A2 6x6 (2.5 ton truck), so to be transplanted with new LDT 465- 1C engine( diesel of course)
11/28/05 1992 12V, W250, 5 speed,4X4, lwb has power mirrors, windows, locks, sliding back glass and Cruise control.
