NV4500/hydraulic clutch question
My NV4500 takes some time downshifting into third or shifting into gear while stopped. Sometimes it takes a second tap before the syncros cooperate. It is a little notchy going into the other gears as well. I've driven it for a year like this never really knowing if that is how a NV4500 is suppose to act or if I got swindled on the tranny I bought.
Could these be sympotoms of a clutch that is not fully disengaging?
When I did the conversion, I used a '95 bellhousing and clutch fork and retained my '92 clutch and slave cylinder. When I put it all together, it seemed to fit and work, but now I have some doubt.
