Advanced Timing
well got under the hood and moved the pump (bought bent wrench from cornwell, best 19.95 ever spent). moved it about 1/8 up and locked it down.
short story, egt's about the same, boost dropped slightly across the board, feels a little better sop, smoke virtually dissappeared. not bad but it almost feels like i went too far. engine sounds a little different too. this sounds right to ya'll?
one question, lugged it in fifth and when the rpm came up it chattered the turbo (never done that before). wasn't making more boost, right at 15 or so when it chattered. any ideas? i still have the stock housing.
