Stock vs. NAPA heater core pics.

For those who wonder where the heat is at. Here is the thin stock heater core and upgraded new NAPA heater core. Much better HOTTER heat with the Napa core. I have a 3 year old Napa heater core in my 89 and still is super hot, this one I put in the crew cab (same heater core 81-93 models). The stock core looks great, no damage, almost new looking. But it sure didn't put out any heat at 190*f coolant temp

. www.napaonline.com. Heater core with AC, Napa part number is 6603343. And yes it fits. There is plenty of unused space in the heater box. You probly could fit a bigger heater core as well.
