Busted Converter?
Does anyone know what would cause the two ears on the snout of the converter that drive the front pump to break off? My truck ran and drove fine when I got it, but I took it apart to restore everything and when the converter was taken out the two ears were still inside the trans. The front pump bushing was chewed up a little, but hadn't started leaking yet. So It must have recently happened, but I didn't break them some how taking it apart. Any ideas? Thanks, Alex
