ULSD in 1st Gens

We are now coming up on the 2nd fuel-type tiers below what these pumps were designed for. After reading the latest magazine about teh USLD, and the effect it can have on certain types of seals, I had decided it might not be a bad idea to get the pump gone through later this summer, but if they are just going to use the same type seals as original, wouldnt it just be a waste of money? Or are there companies selling updated seal kits that can go into the VEs and VP44s without adverse reaction to required fuel from the Egotistical Pinhead Admin?
