A/C not blowing full speed

I had the A/C recharged last week (Ok, I put two cans of R134 in it- had some sticker saying it was compatible with both types. I DO plan to get it done right later this month- I am just between jobs right now and need to cut a corner or two) . When I compared it to Mom's A/C (which I think is borderline as far as fan speed goes; great for temp), hers blows a lot faster, though my air is nearly as cold as hers. What should I check? The 93 FSm is no help- it has troubleshooting for noisy and non-operating fans, but not slow ones. I will check the ducts, doors, and the like, and report back here if anything is obvious. Girlfriend thinks it may be the motor (she works at a shop, and pays attnetion to what causes what problems, so it's not like your average g/f giving advice....."Uhmmm, Blinker fluid?"

) I'm hoping it's not, cause that looks like a real PITA to get to.
