Fan clutch options needed 1990 w300

I was at the dealer yesterday and was told that a fan clutch for my 1990 no intercooled truck is no longer avail.
What are my options? I thought I read about some of you replacing the fan clutch and having to change to a plastic fan? The dealer didn't know any thing about that.
I went out to the Cummins parts house and they could not help, however the parts man did log on the the internet and went to the T D R web sight to see if he could get a quick solution. It was ten to five and he sent me on my way and told me to let him know what you guys say the fix is.

Is Horton an option for me? Will a later model fit? And is there a difference in the non intercooled and the intercooled. I do have a aftermarked Banks cooler.
