how to identify which ve i have

ok i need a new ksb, but i have been told i need to know what model # pump i have, where is the id tag located?

also is the ksb pin supposed to be in or out without power?

and 1 more question.

what damage could have been done driving with the ksb on for about a month, i have no visable leaks, but have noticed some power loss at times
