Pod Vacuum Pump Oil-feed Idea

It's the time of year I have too much time on my hands!

It occurred to me this morning I could return oil from my bypass filter housing to the Non-oil fed Pod Style Vacuum Pump. I would have to drill and tap the housing across from one or the other Pod piston bores but I think it is doable and not too crazy of an idea. This is return oil from the filter that has a pretty good restrictor on it, so it really would be a trickle. Can I get some comments on this one?
