Help sealing fuel fittings
I installed a hollow banjo bolt, 45 elbow, and Westach sending unit for a fuel pressure gauge. I tightened the sending unit good but it still weeps fuel. I am concerned about tightening these fittings too tight and causing them to seize together. Is there some type of sealer compound or other technique I could use? For example, I notice that the quick disconnect fitting in the lift pump was previously treated with something red.
Thanks,
Brian
