Getrag springs, balls and ???

How in the heck do you get the blocker ring, little springs, balls, the other piece, and the synchro assembly piece together?? Members of the Getrag Preservation Society know what I'm referring to..... I've got them greased up real good so as to help keep them sticky and together, but how does one compress all three springs to slide the synchro assembly over them?
