Differential ?'s...

I check my diff weekly, (MagHytech cover) on the dipstick there is consistently two lumps of material,

(gray color when wiped) round 1/4, (.25) inch in diameter. Is this my LSD dissenegrating, or other internal parts wearing out? I've heard some rolling clanking noises

, but goes away once over 15mph. Thanks for any help or ideas y'all have in advance.
