Where to get front susension parts?

Mods- I posted a classified ad, but considering the increasing rarity of good used parts, I wanted some more exposure, as I myself dont see the classifieds every day, and would assume others dont, either.

1992 D350.
My mom needs the piece that goes between the very front of the frame rails that holds the front of the strut rods in place. Her strut rod bracket is cracked almost in 2 on one side. (rod itself is just fine, though.) I have one from an 84 half ton I could make work, but it would require some drilling and cutting to make it fit (the 1/2ton piece is actually wider than the 1ton piece). Dont want to take it to a shop to get welded, as they would likely not do the necessary beefing up and reinforcement I would like to see done, plus I'm not sure it wouldnt crack again in the future.

ANyone have any ideas where to look, or know of any? Or have any surefire ways to fix it?
