Cab Lights with no ground wire??

I just got a set of Pacer Delux cab marker lights. the model # is 20-105.
the instructions specifically describe wireing the black ground wire to a mounting screw. and they even show it in a diagram. but none of the 5 lights have anything close to a ground wire. just a single red positve. could it be that i have a newer model set that dosent have a wire, just grounds it self through the screw that mount through the light frame? its crome plated diecast steel, will that alllow current to pass? im open to any experience or thoughts
