Aero aux fuel tank
Well I finished installing a new 45 gal. Aero aux. fuel tank in my '93 on the 4th. I had to move my tool box back far enough to fit it in. It was a fairly straight forward installation and I did not encounter any major problems. Aero's instructions were not all that great but you should be able to figure it out fairly easily. Since I have a camper shell so I plumbed it thru the shell.
I pucked up an old door plus about 8 inches of metal around it from the junk yard - color just happens to match mine. I still want to repaint the door to finish the project. I only put about 9 gallons of fuel in it from a couple of cans so I know it all works. I will fill it up over the weekend for the running test but do not anticipate any problems.
