Clutch Slave Rod Length on Getrag

For the clutch slave that mounts to the side of the bellhousing, there is a rod that goes to the throwout bearing fork.

Upon pulling mine apart and comparing it to one that I have on my shelf, 1 is longer than the other. What gives? I thought they were all the same? Only conclution I came to is 2 vs 4wd.

Anyone have any thoughts? Will both work? IS there more than 2 different lengths? Am I missing something? Again?
