Front end Parts Sources and random thoughts

"Old Ugly" may need replacement front axle(complete), front axle springs, steering linkages, steering box and front bumper. Any ideas

?
Am also considering a conversion, using "Old Uglys" motor, clutch, tranny and t-case, need a "host". Last thought is; parting-out the old hunk of iron. Any thoughts? I can't afford another truck and am not able to do heavy work. GregH
