Intermediate starting issue

On my 92 W250 i got a starting issue .

Some times it will start fine some times not .

no click no nothing . I cut the wires from the clutch interlock switch
as it came loose once , and by passed still pluged into the stock plug ,
My next thing to try is to cut out the plug all to gether and loop it .

Does any one else have a idea ? I dont think its the starter as it swings fine

but any other ideas are appreciated Thanks
