New turbo setup for stock rig?

So i decided to do it, i want to go bigger. I have a fairly stock '92 5 spd with 4" straight, smaller housing on stock turbo, and fuel screw tweaked just a bit. I want to know what the best turbo for me to run is and if i should invest in some stronger head studs. Also I'm planning injectors in the future as well. I'm just looking for a mild upgrade that will boost more, spool faster, and still give me decent mpg on highway. any suggestions are great
