28# boost=280 hp?
Installed rpm, boost and egt gauges . Deleted muffler, with exhaust exiting in front of passenger rear wheel . Towed the heaviest load yet, 8 bulls and two horses in a 24' gooseneck . 18# boost max, did not get over 1000 egt. It would still out pull my 460 ci ford. The next day I cut the fuel screw collar off and turned the screw in several turns... lost count of the turns Backed off the high idle screw and adjusted the low idle screw. I then towed a load slightly lighter than the previous day , 28# boost and max 1200 deg. egt. Way cool! Thats more like it! So like the title says, did I achieve 100 hp increase? Thanks...
