Clock Flashing???

In my 1990 D350 i have a factory radio that has been doing some flashing. The radio shows the time and staion, but it does a very dim glow and a very bright glow. It only does it when i go over bumps and when im just driving around town. It even does it when the truck is just idling. So i would really appericate the feedback.
