pump mods

Right now i am going through a divorce so there are no bombing funds LOL. Right now the truck is stock see signature. I was wondering if i could do some mild pump mods that would not risk the longevity of the injector pump.(very much) I know i need to get boost and pyro gages. But is there anything i can do without getting the gages and risking pump failure???? if so where would i find the procedure for doing this??? truck currently has 102,000 miles on it
