any one swap latemodel rear discs to a first gen?

im interested in finding out how the brackets would work for the calipers etc..i have a '89 1 ton swr...heck id like to swap to newer front discs too..my truck as its auto 3spd kinda sucks in the brake department..any ideas out there?..i don't know how a real dana 60/70 axles ends compare to the hybrid dana 80s and those new front axles?....lets try and figure it out..thanks
