Tranny line problem alert
Drained and flushed my cooling system today and found a potentially serious problem that you guys with auto tranny's need to be aware of.
When I opened the radiator pet cock, I found the tranny fluid lines making contact with the pet cock. The line at this area is rubber and there was a bad spot on the hose that had been wearing on the pet cock. Much more and it would have been worn through. This would have been a loss of tranny fluid and a potential for a very expensive tranny repair. You guys might want to check and see if your's are doing the same thing. Could prevent a major tranny problem.
Thought you might like to know this.
