converting 93 to P-7100 pump

Has anyone here converted their first gen to the P7100 fuel pump? Looking for advice, parts that will be needed and any pitfalls to watch out for. Any info will be welcomed. I have posted a similar thread over in the products & access. forum and have recieved several good replies. But to get feedback from as many people as possible that have actually done this conversion would be great. I may be getting the pump off of a 96 engine complete with fuel lines, pump gear, etc. Wondering for instance about adapting existing trottle linkage to the p-7100 among other things.
